Aduna Cacao Quinola Recipe

Nothing beats homemade granola - especially when it's chocolate AND healthy. We love Aduna Feel Good Triber Tiffany's grain-free version made with quinoa puffs, our super-cacao powder and coconut. Grab a handful for a satisfying snack or pour over almond milk for breakfast and watch the milk turn chocolat-ey! 

Serves 1

Ingredients:

1 tbsp Aduna Super Cacao powder
20g quinoa puffs
20g cacao nibs
2 Tbsp of desiccated coconut 
2-3 tbsp coconut oil
1/2 tbsp sweetener of choice (honey, coconut nectar, agave nectar)

Extras:

Handful of toasted coconut flakes, pumpkin seeds, flaxseeds, dried fruit - cranberries, goji berries, etc.

Method:

Pre-heat the oven to 140C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Mix together the quinoa puffs, cacao powder, nibs and desiccated coconut in a bowl and set aside.

Melt your coconut oil and sweetener together in a double boiler. Pour over the quinoa puff mix and stir until well combined.

Spread the mixture evenly over the baking tray and bake for approx 20 minutes. Check and stir it every 5 minutes to ensure it doesn't burn.

Remove from oven, stir in any extras and allow to cool completely before storing in an airtight jar.
