          Naturally Sassy's debut cookbook!

          Meet Saskia Gregson-Williams, long-time friend of Aduna, self-confessed baobaholic and the genius healthy recipe creator behind Naturally Sassy - blog, app, eBook, snack line & now published cookbook! 

          As a ballet dancer, a plant-based diet free from processed ingredients, wheat and sugar gives Saskia all the energy and nutrition she needs to train, recover and perform. But you don't have to be an athlete to enjoy and feel the benefit from eating the Naturally Sassy way. Her creative easy-to-make recipes prove to sugar addicts, hardened carnivores and dairy lovers that plant-based eating is delicious, fun and satisfying - as well as really good for you!

          We caught up with Saskia to find out more about her passion for healthy eating and to hear all about her debut cookbook. To celebrate the launch, Saskia has given us four copies hot of the press to give away. For your chance to win, see below.

          1. In two sentences, describe your food & wellness philosophy

          Embracing food the way nature made it - completely unrefined and unprocessed. It's about cooking meals that are packed with nutrients, yet completely delicious.

          2. What’s your typical:


          My favourite breakfast has got to be banana, cinnamon and almond porridge with a blueberry compote. It sounds fancy, but it takes 10 minutes to make and is so delicious!


          Lunch tends to be a collection of dishes I will have made on Sunday for the week ahead. Today it will be: beetroot slaw, sweet potato hummus, lemon quinoa and lots of avocado. I’ll probably have one of my Naturally Sassy bars too! 


          I’m a big fan of something hearty to end the day like lentil cottage pie.

          3. What’s your favourite recipe from the cookbook?

          Such a hard question, it’s a tie between butternut squash risotto, caramel mousse with chocolate ganache and the carrot fritters.   

          4. What was the most fun part of developing your cookbook?

          I absolutely loved seeing it come to life on the shoot days! It was also great to see the team's response to them. We definitely all went home feeling very content and full.

          5. Your recipes are so easy to make and always taste delicious. Where do you get your inspiration?

          The inspiration behind the recipes I make comes from unhealthy foods I used to absolutely love: chocolate brownies, peanut butter cheesecake, burgers, lasagne, etc. - all with a Naturally Sassy twist. 

          6. What are the ingredients you can’t live without? 

          Hands down: avocado, medjool dates, cashew nuts & sweet potato.

          7. So, you’ve already designed a menu for Lab Organic, launched your own snack company and now released your first cookbook.. all by the age of 18! What’s next for Naturally Sassy?

          I’ve got some big things in the pipeline that I’m really excited about. The Naturally Sassy Food line is expanding, and I’m working on tons of new products, as well as a very cool online platform that will launch early next year.
