Tapped Birch Water: Refreshing Goodness Straight from the Tree

          Aduna Loves Tapped

Here at Aduna HQ we love nothing better then to snack on one of our energy bars while sipping on a chilled glass of Tapped Birch Water.

Tapped's range of organic birch waters are making big waves on the health food scene.  Rewind 2 years ago to 2015 and this is when it all began for co-founders of Tapped Paul Lederer and Charlie Hoare. The dynamic duo set out with a vision to bring natural, healthy living to life with a range of drinks made from nothing but nature itself - more specifically, from Nordic Birch trees.

During winter months, birch trees store vital minerals and vitamins in their roots. Every spring, the water filters up through the trunk and can then be extracted through a process called tapping. A small hole is created in the trunk (fear not, it heals up quickly after so does not damage the tree), then a small tube is inserted which the sap readily flows through before being collected. Traditionally in the Nordics, birch trees are tapped every springtime and its health benefits enjoyed by the local communities. Thanks to Tapped, this tradition is no longer exclusive to the Nordics!

Birch water is packed with cleansing and hydrating properties and is a natural source of anti-oxidising manganese, which helps boost energy levels. It is also low in calories and requires no added sugar.

Tapped's range is available in three refreshing flavours:

          • Pure organic birch water
          • Bilberry & lingonberry
          • Apple & root ginger

Tap into the benefits of nature's birch water and give them a try!
