Why Aduna?

Having qualified as a corporate solicitor, I wanted to make the transition to an industry for which I had a passion and one which I would be raring to go each morning. I left behind my career in law in order to realise my ambition of working in the food industry and with innovative and healthy living focused ingredients and food products. When I first met with Andrew and Nick and began to understand more about the Aduna model and the scale of opportunity to provide life-changing sustainable income to millions of households in Africa, I leapt at the opportunity to join the team. It is a privilege to be part of a team which harnesses commercial opportunity in such an impactful way for the communities from which Aduna sources.

Bio:

Daniel started his career in the legal industry, qualifying as a corporate solicitor for a City firm having acted for local authorities, private equity funds and high net-worth individuals on asset finance, corporate real estate, M&A and dispute resolution matters. Prior to this, Daniel worked for a number of US and international law firms and the in-house legal department of a Pan-European private equity fund.

Prior to Aduna and following his career transition, Daniel worked at Cuckoo, an FMCG start-up, on the development of its brand presence and sales within the foodservice and UK grocery multiples sectors.

He is responsible for driving Aduna’s expansion in the UK foodservice and HoReCa sectors.
