          Why Aduna?

          After years of working in retail, I felt a lack of purpose and progression within the industry. I've always been interested in Business Admin and as I started to search for vacancies, I came across the Marketing/Admin Assistant role at Aduna. What stood out to me the most about Aduna was their social mission which is to create sustainable incomes for the producers in Africa; the majority being women. Being an African woman myself (I’m half Sierra Leonean), I am very passionate about my country & the continent in general, so being able to be a part of a company that shares my values of giving back and doing more is great. There is a social perception of Africa, and upon visiting there myself, not all that is said is true & I believe that by working at Aduna, I am contributing a little towards changing that perception.

          Bio:

          Deborahe was in the retail industry for four years, working for well established companies such as Debenhams & TK Maxx. She has now transitioned into the business admin industry and is currently working towards a Level 3 qualification in Business Admin.
