Raw Moringa Protein Brownies

Aduna Moringa Protein Brownies


You might not think to add greens to your desserts but they're the perfect place to sneak them in. These super fudgy raw brownies from Aduna Triber Alessandra are so chocolatey that you'll never know there's a whole tablespoon of our mighty moringa in them! High protein, gluten-free, grain-free and refined sugar-free, they're bound to be a hit with whoever you share them with.

Ingredients:

1 tbsp Aduna Moringa Superleaf Powder
1 cup Aduna Super-Cacao Powder
1 1/2 cups coconut chips
1/2 cups pea protein or pea & hemp mix
1 tbsp vanilla powder
1/3 cup maple syrup or date paste
1 tbsp mesquite powder
1/2 tsp Himalayan salt

Method:

Place the coconut chips in a food processor and process until very fine.

Add the rest of the dry ingredients and pulse to combine.

The dough will have a brownie batter texture, not too wet or too dry. It will stick when pressed together between your hands.

Pour the maple syrup or date paste in and process until combined (to make date paste, blend 2 cups of dates with approx. 1 cup of water until a smooth paste forms).

Line an 8-inch square pan with cling film. Transfer the brownie dough to the pan and press evenly.

Freeze for an hour.

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two weeks or freeze again.

When ready, take out and cut into squares.
