Aduna Raspberry Cream Filled Cacao Cookies

Combining 2 of our favourite ingredients, chocolate and berries, these raspberry cream filled cacao cookies by Aduna Feel Good Triber Charley can't help but be delicious. Think raw oreos, but with a fruity twist! These are the perfect guilt-free treat to reach for in the afternoon. 

Serves 8



2 tbsp Aduna Super-Cacao Powder
1/2 cup pecans
1 cup (gluten-free) oats
1 tbsp coconut oil
1/2 cup dates
1 tbsp brown rice syrup

Cashew Cream:

1/2 cup cashews, soaked overnight & drained
1 cup raspberries
2 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp brown rice syrup
2 tsp acai powder
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice


To make the chocolate cookies, add the pecans to a food processor and pulse for a few seconds to break them into smaller pieces. Add in the remaining cookie ingredients and blend until fully combined and until you’re left with a slightly sticky mixture. Add more dates if necessary.

Take a small amount of the mixture and form a cookie shape. Repeat this with all of the mixture and place these into the freezer to set whilst you make the filling.

For the filling, drain and rinse the cashew nuts and place these into a food processor or high powered blender with the other cashew cream ingredients. Blend until smooth and creamy.

Take a generous spoonful of the cream and spread this on top of half of the cookies then place the other halves of the cookies on top. Pop the finished cookies back into the freezer for a few hours to set.
