Moringa Pesto

Pesto has got to be one of the best food inventions ever made! Sweet, salty and rich-tasting, it adds a serious flavour punch to whatever you serve it with. Pesto pasta is a classic but we also like adding a swirl to hummus, a dollop on jacket potatoes, or simply mixing it with grains, beans and vegetables too. This version is even more nutritious, thanks to our Moringa Powder! 

Serves 6


1 tsp Aduna Moringa Powder
1 cup fresh basil leaves
¼ cup olive oil
⅛ tsp salt
1 clove of garlic
¼ cup pine nuts, toasted


Add all the ingredients, except the olive oil to a food processor and pulse a few times to roughly combine.

With the food processor on, pour in the olive oil in a continuous stream and blend until combined.

Transfer pesto to a glass jar or container and store in the fridge.
