Baobab Healthy Crispy Treats
Crispy treats were one of our childhood favourites so we're so excited to be able to share a healthy version. This recipe is made with peanut butter and coconut oil, natural sweetener, quinoa pops and Baobab Superfruit Powder. Much more nutritious and just as delicious as the original.
2 heaped tbsp Aduna Baobab Powder
1/2 cup peanut or almond butter
1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
50g coconut oil, melted
2 cups quinoa pops or brown rice crispies
1/4 cup ground flaxseed
Add the coconut oil, honey and nut butter to a saucepan over low heat and gently melt to combine.
Stir together the remaining ingredients in a large bowl and pour the liquid mixture over the top.
Using a large spatula, stir well to ensure everything is well coated in the sticky mixture.
Scoop out small amounts of the mixture at a time and spoon into cupcake cases. Repeat, until all the mixture is used up.
Place in the fridge until set.
