Sweet Chilli & Baobab Roasted Nuts

We love sweet and spicy together so these Sweet Chilli & Baobab Roasted Nuts are right up our street. Baobab adds a touch of tang and of course some extra vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Try serving these to guests as pre-dinner nibbles or just as a healthy afternoon snack. But be warned....they're addictive! 

Makes approx. 6 servings

Ingredients: 

1 tbsp Aduna Baobab Powder
2 cups mixed nuts
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp honey
2 tsp chilli flakes
3 tbsp water
1 tsp coconut oil
1/4 tsp salt

Method:

Preheat oven to 160C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

In a small pan, gently heat the maple syrup, honey, water, chilli flakes & coconut oil. Remove from the heat and whisk in the baobab and salt. Pour this mixture over the nuts and mix well to coat.

Spread the nuts in an even layer on the prepared baking tray and bake for approx. 15 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking time. Leave to cool completely, break apart then store in a sealed jar.
