Berry, Baobab & Açai Bowl
You can tell from the vibrant colour of this breakfast bowl that it must be bursting with goodness! Aduna Feel Good Triber Emma Barbour, aka The Artful Foodie, has created this beautiful Berry, Baobab & Açai bowl. Full of protein, fibre, antioxidants and healthy fats, it's a perfectly balanced and delicious way to start the day.
1 tsp Aduna Baobab Powder
1 tbsp buckwheat (soaked overnight in water + 1 tsp of apple cider vinegar, then rinsed, to make it more digestible)
3 frozen strawberries
1/2 cup of frozen blueberries
handful of spinach
1 tbsp coconut flakes
2 pitted dates or 1 tbsp sweetener of choice
3 tsp hemp protein powder
1 tsp each of baobab, maca, beetroot (can substitute with half a cup of fresh beetroot) & moringa powders
1 tbsp açai powder
1 cup almond milk (or any plant milk) topped up with water if needed
METHOD:Blend until thick and creamy, top with your toppings of choice (e.g. berries, bee pollen, buckinis & coconut).
