Creamy, frothy and chocolatey but with a shot of Irish cream liqueur, this is certainly no ordinary hot chocolate. The perfect warming drink to make to satisfy your sweet cravings and wind down in the evening.
Ingredients
- 2 tsp Aduna Super Cacao Powder
- 50ml Baileys Irish Cream liqueur
- 175ml coconut milk
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
To serve (optional):
- Marshmallows
- Chocolate sauce
Method
- Pour the Baileys into a mug and set aside.
- Heat the coconut milk in small saucepan over a gentle heat and when it is warm add in the cacao powder and cinnamon.
- Heat for a further 5 minutes until steaming but not bubbling, then take a milk frother and froth the milk until it reaches your desired consistency.
- Remove from the heat and pour into the mug over the Baileys.
- Serve topped with marshmallows and chocolate sauce.
