Deliciously decadent, these melt-in-your-mouth truffles are the ultimate chocolatey treat to enjoy after dinner. Simple to make and packed full of flavour, you'll never want shop-bought again!
Ingredients
- 1½ tbsp Aduna Super Cacao Powder (plus extra for rolling)
- 150ml double cream
- 1 knob unsalted butter
- Zest of 1 small clementine
- 150g 70% dark chocolate
- Large pinch sea salt
- Large splash brandy
Method
- Heat the cream in a saucepan over a medium heat. As soon as small bubbles start to appear, add the butter and clementine zest.
- Break the chocolate into small pieces and place in a bowl. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate and whisk until the chocolate has completely melted.
- Add the salt and stir in the brandy, then place in the fridge for a few hours to set slightly.
- Once set, use a teaspoon (dipped in boiling water if necessary) to scoop out the mixture and form truffles, then roll in cacao powder to serve.
