Chocolate Orange Porridge

Chocolate and orange is one of our favourite flavour combinations and what better way to start the day than with chocolate! This warming bowl of porridge is packed full of vitamin C and fibre from the baobab and orange, helping you to feel satisfied all the way until lunchtime.


1 tbsp Aduna Baobab Powder
50g rolled porridge oats
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
juice and zest of 1/2 large orange
250ml almond milk
1/2 orange chocolate bar
sprinkle buckwheat groats (optional)


Place the oats, orange zest and cinnamon in a saucepan and pour in the almond milk. Bring to the boil and simmer for 3-4 minutes, adding in the orange juice once the oats start to absorb the milk. Stir from time to time and watch carefully that it doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pan (add a little more milk or water if this starts to happen).

Once cooked to your desired consistency, take off the heat and stir in the baobab powder. Top with the chocolate, a sprinkle of buckwheat groats and a squeeze of fresh orange juice.
