Vegan Chocolate Spelt Pancakes

Nothing beats a giant stack of chocolate pancakes, especially when they are covered in all your favourite toppings. Made from just a handful of ingredients, these light and fluffy vegan pancakes will soon become your favourite weekend brunch option. 

Serves 4


3 tbsp Aduna Super-Cacao Powder
1 cup spelt flour
1 cup almond milk
1/2 mashed banana
2 tbsp cane sugar
1 tbsp baking soda


Mix all the dry ingredients together in a bowl and all the wet ingredients together in a separate bowl, then combine them together until you have a smooth mixture. 

Heat a little coconut oil in a frying pan over a medium heat, then spoon a couple of dollops of the mixture into the pan and fry the pancakes on both sides until brown. Keep going until the mixture runs out. 

Transfer the pancakes to a plate and top with fresh fruit.
