Wonderfully simple to make, this nourishing green soup is the perfect recipe to whip up for a tasty weeknight meal. Containing plant protein from the mighty moringa, healthy fats and vitamins and minerals, it's an all-round winner.
Ingredients
- 1-2 tbsp Aduna Moringa Powder
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 cups frozen peas
- ½ onion, diced
- 3-4 cups hot water (depending on your desired consistency)
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp chilli powder
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper
- ½ tsp cumin
- Pink Himalayan salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Method
- Add the olive oil, sesame oil and diced onion to a pan over a medium heat and cook for a few minutes, stirring frequently, before adding the frozen peas. Cook for a further 10 minutes.
- Stir in the spices (except the moringa powder) and cook for one more minute, stirring constantly.
- Transfer the mixture to a blender, add the hot water and moringa powder, and blend until smooth.
- Pour into bowls and garnish with your favourite toppings.
