Wonderfully simple to make, this nourishing green soup is the perfect recipe to whip up for a tasty weeknight meal. Containing plant protein from the mighty moringa, healthy fats and vitamins & minerals; it's an all-round winner.
Ingredients:
1-2 tbsp Aduna Moringa Powder
3 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp sesame oil
2 cups frozen peas
1/2 onion, diced
3-4 cups hot water, depending on your desired consistency
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp cumin
pink Himalayan salt, to taste
black pepper, to taste
Method:
Add the oils and onion to a frying pan over medium heat and cook for a few minutes, stirring frequently, before adding the peas. Cook for a further 10 minutes. Stir in the spices (not including the moringa powder) and stir over the heat for a further minute.
Add this mixture to a blender along with the hot water and moringa powder and blend until smooth.
Pour into bowls and garnish with your favourite toppings.
