Crunchy, chocolatey & crazily delicious! This easy recipe is perfect for getting the kids in the kitchen and requires minimal ingredients. Free from added sugar and made with nutrient-rich Super-Cacao, they're a healthier take on the family favourite Easter treat.
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp Aduna Super Cacao Powder
- 85g coconut oil, melted
- 4 tbsp maple syrup (or to taste)
- 60g cornflakes (or any other filling of your choice!)
Topping ideas:
- Mini Easter eggs
- Dried fruits and/or nuts
Method
- In a bowl, mix together the coconut oil, maple syrup and Super Cacao until smooth.
- Add the cornflakes and mix until well coated.
- Lightly brush muffin cases with coconut oil (we used reusable cases which don't need greasing).
- Evenly divide the mixture between the cases, leaving a slight dip in the middle for toppings.
- Refrigerate for at least 25 minutes until set.
- Decorate with your favourite toppings.
