This chocolate mousse may be vegan and refined sugar-free, but it is just as rich, creamy and decadent as a regular chocolate mousse. The secret to creating that gorgeous velvety texture without using any cream? Avocado! Perfect for impressing dinner guests or even as a quick evening dessert for one!
Ingredients
- 4 tbsp Aduna Super Cacao Powder
- 1 small avocado
- 1 banana
- ½ cup pitted dates
- Juice and zest of ½ an orange
- A splash of dairy-free milk of your choice
- A dash of vanilla extract
Method
Add all the ingredients into a food processor or high-speed blender and blend thoroughly. You may want to soften your dates prior to this by soaking them in warm water so that they are easier to blend. Gradually add a little milk to help everything blend into a smooth and creamy consistency.
Once you are happy with the texture and flavour of the mousse, garnish with the toppings of your choice and serve.
