Baobab & Apricot Tartlets

When summer arrives we can't get enough of stone fruit! Fresh apricots are a particular treat and their fragrant flavour works wonderfully with our zingy baobab powder. These healthy & delicious tartlets from Aduna Feel Good Triber Natalia take just a few minutes to make – no oven required!  

Makes 8


1 tbsp Aduna Super-Cacao Powder
1/2 cup ground almonds
1/4 cup coconut flakes
5-6 medjool dates
1 tbsp maple syrup 
1 tbsp melted coconut oil

For the filling:

1 tbsp Aduna Baobab Powder
1 cup fresh apricots
1 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp melted coconut oil
1/4 cup coconut cream


Combine all the ingredients for the base in a food processor and divide mixture between 8 tartlet moulds. Place into fridge to set. 

If you want your tartlet bases to be a bit drier, take them out of the moulds and place into a dehydrator for a few hours. Time will depend on how dry you want them to be.

Blend all the ingredients for the filling until smooth. Pour mixture into your bases and return to the fridge to set. Finally, decorate with cherries and sprinkle with extra baobab powder.
