Traditional Baobab Drink

Traditional Baobab Drink

Aduna Co-Founder, Nick, first discovered baobab in Senegal where it's widely enjoyed as a drink known as "bouye" made from milk, sugar and baobab powder. He enjoyed it so much that it led to the creation of Aduna!

Ingredients:

2 tbsp Aduna Baobab Powder
1 large glass of your favourite milk (cow's, almond, coconut, etc.)
honey or sugar to taste

Method:

Add baobab powder to a glass along with a splash of milk. Mix into a paste then gradually top up the glass with the rest of the milk, stirring to avoid lumps.

Add sweetener to taste and stir to mix.

Alternatively, add all the ingredients to a blender and blend to combine.

Enjoy!
