Traditional Baobab Drink

Traditional Baobab Drink

Aduna Co-Founder, Nick, first discovered baobab in Senegal where it's widely enjoyed as a drink known as "bouye" made from milk, sugar and baobab powder. He enjoyed it so much that it led to the creation of Aduna!

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Aduna Baobab Powder
  • 1 large glass of your favourite milk (cow's, almond, coconut, etc.)
  • Honey or sugar, to taste

Method

  1. Add baobab powder to a glass along with a splash of milk. Mix into a paste.
  2. Gradually top up the glass with the rest of the milk, stirring to avoid lumps.
  3. Add sweetener to taste and stir to mix.

Alternatively, add all ingredients to a blender and blend to combine.

Enjoy!
