Apple & Baobab Hot Toddy By Honestly Healthy

"This is an insanely delicious remedy if you are feeling under the weather. The addition of baobab powder adds an extra potent dose of vitamin C and is also incredibly rehydrating for the body – both properties are vital when you have a cold or flu. A hot drink always seems to soothe the soul when you are feeling low or unwell, and the addition of aromatic star anise and cinnamon makes for a completely delicious, healthy soother. Add some grated ginger too if you would like a bit more of a kick to clear the sinuses" - Natasha Corrett.

Serving(s) 2

Ingredients:

1 tsp Aduna Baobab Powder
juice of 3 apples (400ml)
3 star anise
3 slices of root ginger
a generous pinch of ground cinnamon

Method:

Juice the apples and transfer the juice to a pan.

Add the remaining ingredients and slowly bring to the boil.

Allow to simmer for 3 minutes before turning off the heat and straining the juice.

Enjoy!
