Raw Baobab Easter Chocolates
These baobalicious treats created by Aduna Feel Good Triber Ania are the perfect way to enjoy Easter without the sugar-induced coma! They're gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan-friendly and easy to make so great for getting the kids involved too. Chocolate heaven indeed!
Makes approx. 30 single chocolates or 4 chocolate bars
For dark chocolate:
1 tbsp Aduna Baobab Powder
250g cacao butter
50ml coconut or agave nectar
60g raw cacao powder
pinch of salt
For white chocolate:
125g cacao butter
2 tbsp icing sugar
1 tbsp maca powder
Aduna Moringa Powder (to taste - add to green colouring)
acai powder (to taste - add to purple colouring)
Melt all the ingredients for the dark chocolate in a double boiler over low heat then blend to create an even consistency.
In separate bowl, melt all the ingredients for the white chocolate, whisk or blend until smooth.
Divide the white chocolate into as many portions as you want (depending on how many colours you want to add), add the food colouring and powders to each portion.
Pour into silicon moulds and place in the fridge for 10 minutes.
Pour dark chocolate over the top and refrigerate for at least an hour, or until solid.
