Moringa & Turmeric Kale Chips

Coconut, dates and turmeric might sound like a strange combination but the sweet and savoury combination is surprisingly delicious. If you're struggling to get your daily greens in, this is the recipe for you - doubly green (with the added moringa powder) and oh so moreish! 

Serves 6

Ingredients:

3/4 tsp Aduna Moringa Powder
1 bag kale, washed and trimmed (around 350-400g)
5 dates
65g creamed coconut
1.5 tbsp ground turmeric
3/4 tsp salt
juice of half a lemon

Method:

Preheat your oven to 100C.

Add all the ingredients, except the kale, to a blender and blend until a thick paste.Taste and adjust salt and lemon if needed. 

Add the paste to a large bowl with the kale leaves and gently massage them until all the leaves are well coated. 

Spread the kale chips on a baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 1 hour 20 minutes. After 40 minutes, flip them over to make sure they're crispy on both sides.

Leave to cool and store in an airtight container or zip lock bag.
