Baobab & Banana Pancakes With Chocolate Sauce

          Who doesn't love pancakes for breakfast? Thanks to our recipe winner Tahlia Kovetski you can now enjoy healthy & nutritious pancakes filled with our feel good fruit. Not only do they contain your daily dose of baobab keeping you alert and energised all day, but they are topped with a decadent chocolate sauce. Breakfast heaven! 


          For the pancakes:

          2 tbsp Aduna Baobab Powder
          2 very ripe bananas
          1 cup oats (adjust more or less depending on size of bananas)
          1 tbsp psyllium husk
          1 tbsp maca
          2 tbsp chia seeds
          3/4 cup coconut milk (adjust depending on how much oats you used)

          For the sauce: 

          1 tbsp Aduna Super-Cacao Powder 
          1 tbs coconut oil (you may need to melt it if it has solidified)
          1 tsp maple syrup


          Blend all the pancake ingredients in a blender until smooth. Heat a little coconut oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. Dollop some of the mixture onto the pan and cook until golden brown on both sides. 

          Then mix all the chocolate sauce ingredients together in a small bowl until very smooth.

          Layer the cooked pancakes and top with fresh fruit - I used bananas and strawberries. Then drizzle on the chocolate sauce and any other desired toppings.
